Originally inspired by souvenir dolls from Japan , the name Matryoshka comes from a popular Russian female name of the time, Matryona or Matriosha. The name Babushka, meaning Grandmother, is also often used.

But these Macro-Matryoshkas are certainly not your Grandmothers Babushkas!! Be careful, assembling and disassembling these Matryoshkas can become highly addictive. Each set includes a 6 piece nesting doll and comes boxed.
